In Nono : Close to the Rocsen museum you can visit craftsmen like Los Bruzzone (a family-run workshop specialized in wood), Marta Delú who recycles antiques made of metal, and the looms of the Pérez family in Los Algorrobos. In Las Calles you can find the workshop of Jorge and Analía "Alameda" (wood, metal, pictures and sweets) and fabrics manufactured by Doña Gerónima. Completing the tour, you can see the wickerwork of woodbine and rattan of Juan Montenegro in El Huayco. 

In Los Hornillos : In this location we recommend to visit Marilí Gigli (sculpturer) in his workshop "Haus" and the ceramist Jorge López. You can find local handcrafts in the "Casa de María" where workshops of dry flowers and cardboard are offered. Also visit the carpenter´s shop Pipo (Carpintería Artesanal Pipo).

In San Javier : In San Javier, Yacanto and La Pobiación you can find recognized artists like: Elio Marocchi (silverware), Sergio Paolucci (handcrafted tableware and majolica), Rafael Barragán (goldsmith), “Los Olivos" popular artwork, and flower craft by Cristina López in El Carrizal. For your good taste visit Siete Colores (honey and bee products) and Tres Higueras (sweet liqueurs and chutneys). In Agrupación Andar you can visit the exposition and sales of the Weavers of the Traslasierra (Tejenderas de Traslasierra). 

  • Rocsen Museum
     

Its name means "holy rock". More than 16.000 objects from all over the world are on exibition in this multifaceted universe which shows distinct cultures, elements of everyday use, of science and technology, in a collection lasting already more than 33 years. 

The museum is visited by hundreds of tourists from all latitudes all over the year. You will receive personal reception 365 days a year, from 9 in the morning until sunset.

  • Route of flavours (Ruta de los sabores) 

Olive oil : Two establishments stand out - "Finca corralito" located in La Paz and "Olium" in Villa de las Rosas

Bee products: Several apieries are distributed over the whole valley and offer diverse bee products - honey, pollen, royal jelly, propolis etc...

Trouts : You can enjoy trouts in the most prominent restaurants, grilled, with black butter or different gravies

Beer: Still in initiation, there are two pioneering establishments -"Piedra y Camino" in Nono and "Las violetas" in San Javier

Trail "El Empedrado" :  Length: 6km - Dificulty: medium - Duration: 4 Hs - Altitude: 1.400 m

Trail "Del Lago" :  Three distinct options: San Huberto, Combinado and Rio los Sauces

Trail"Del Arroyo" :  Dificulty: low - Duration: 4 Hs 

  • Quebrada del Condorito National Park

The "Quebrada del Condorito", which gives name to the protected area, is a deep Y-shaped canyon of 800m depth and 1500m width at its widest point. From both sides of the canyon it is possible to observe the smooth flight of the Andean Condor at almost eye level.
